FREDDIE JENKINS

Freddie found reformer pilates back in 2019. She came across Mycore when dealing with torn ligaments in her ankle. Since then she has strengthened a rotator cuff injury through regular reformer classes with Sarah.

She is a huge believer in finding pockets of movement everyday- it brings her joy to open space for exactly this. Her own love for movement has varied hugely over the years from dance, running, swimming, weightlifting, cycling. For a long while she suffered with Fibromyalgia and ME - enduring a non-linear journey to rehabilitate her body to get back into movement. She believes this hurdle has driven her passion for wellbeing and enhanced her appreciation for the body & mind connection.

Reformer pilates became and still is, a non-negotiable for her. There’s a concentration required, a remarkable “stilling” to the rest of the world. She was hooked from her first class and is so happy to be here at Mycore teaching!

Her background teaching yoga includes pre/postnatal yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa, breath work, meridian theory, and MFR.

Expect classes with Freddie to be varied and focused around sustainable practice. She wishes for you to invite connection: find your breath, freedom in the body, focus in the mind.
